I want his Calvin Johnson...what to offer? WHIR!

Postby futbol57102at » Fri Oct 07, 2011 10:23 pm

So, I noticed one of my owners is in a bye week for his TE and K, and our waiver wire doesn't have the best options for either right now (and he doesn't have backups, for those or QB). Any idea what I would need to give to make a reasonable package deal for Calvin Johnson?

Here's what I have:

Brees
Fitzpatrick

Foster
Bradshaw
Gore
Hillis

Maclin
Moss
Colston
Julio Jones

Gronkowski

Gostkowski

Ravens and Giants D/ST

This is a nonPPR btw...

Also, his team is the following:

Schaub

McFadden
Mathews
Chris Johnson
Javid Best

Calvin Johnson
Bowe
Holmes
Den. Moore

Kundiff (bye)

Well with the way Megatron is playing you would have to offer Brees and Foster lol.

I am thinking Foster, Brees, and your 1st born child.

It is wishful thinking that you can get him but a bye week kicker and TE are nothing to give up the best WR (outside welker) in fantasy...I have tried.

The guy needs a bye week K and TE and you think he might be willing to trade Calvin Johnson to get those two positions?? No chance.

As others have said it will take Brees or Foster, nothing less. You can't get something for nothing. I have CJ and there is very very little I would trade him for.

I obviously wasn't expecting those 2 positions as a straight up trade, rather those 2 as well as 1 or 2 additional players, and was trying to figure how I could package a trade, if at all.
