I want his Steve Johnson/Sproles, what do I offer

Hey there, cool place. I need some advice! Stuck at 0-3-1 mainly due to being an owner of Foster, Britt and Gates all being pussies.

This is my current team

QB: Brees, Hasselbeck
RB: Foster, DeAngelo Williams, Redman, Helu
WR: Maclin, Holmes, D.Nelson, Knox, A. Brown
TE: Gates, Chandler
D/ST: Texans
K: Folk

Guy in my 12 team league is willing to trade the Lions or Steelers D/ST and a RB/WR in return for a RB/WR and a TE. I don't want either D/ST but want to tempt him with annother offer. He has Peterson and Nicks who I don't think he'll give up, but he's got Sproles and Steve Johnson who would be an upgrade to what I have right?

Problem is I'm trying to think of a trade where I can tempt him to bite, so whats the best thing for me to offer? I'm desperate not to give up Maclin or Gates, I've no idea! However should I have to give up Maclin in that trade I'm almost 100% certain that another guy in the league would take Sproles for Vincent Jackson.

So any advice on what I should offer would be much appreciated!

You would have to give up good value for that and idk your team isnt deep so idk if you should try and trade for him. If you try and trade Gates youll get next to nothing for him because his foot problems are gonna linger all season and every1 knows that. I doubt he'd even trade Johnson and Sproles for Maclin and Gates.

If some idiot is actually gonna trade V-jax for Sproles you should make sure hes def gonna do it 1st than trade Holmes for sproles and sproles for V-jax.

Also this week start Foster and Redman at Rb
and at WR start Maclin, Holmes and Knox

I'm thinking Gates will be fine after the bye week, he's certainly better than what he has right now which is Dallas Clark.

Also the guy with VJax is desperate for a RB, he has Blount/Lynch/Spiller which says a lot.

Like I said every1 else isnt gonna give anything up for Gates right now, if your optimistic about him than hold onto him. hes prob about as valuable as Dallas Clark.

You should just trade that other guy than who needs Rbs. Try and trade D.Williams for Jackson if he doesnt like that and he says hell do sproles for jackson than you could trade next to nothing for sproles than get V-jax.

However desperate he may be i find it hard to believe some1 would trade Jackson for Sproles but if he is do it. Just think if you trade holmes for Sproles your in essence trading holmes for V-jax

I already tried offering DeAngelo for VJax and it didn't work to no surprise.

Offered Holmes for Sproles, don't think he'll accept it but who knows.

is this a ppr league or something. Sproles is gettin 10 touches a game, yea hes putting up huge numbers but if his average ends up around 5 yards a gain that 5 points. V-jax is a 1,200 yard 8-10 TD receiever

Looking at it it's a fair offer, dude with VJax is desperate. I did offer him a crocked Foster for Blount and VJax which he turned down, clearly that was a mistake to make in the first place.

Out of everyone in the league these two are the most negotiable where I can maybe sniff a little bit of value.

Also any other wideout recommendations I should try for with those players above would be useful! Just trying to improve this all round shambles.
