Who should be the QBs for AFC Pro Bowl?

Postby brdmaverick » Wed Dec 03, 2003 1:36 pm

Who would you say should be the AFC Pro Bowl QBs....

I think Steve McNair and Peyton Manning are definites, so it is the third spot that is up for grabs. If it were up to me, I would give it to.....

Tom Brady, sure there is some hometown bias, but he flat out just wins games. The Patriots have been involved in many close games against the leagues best and have won them all.

I think he is even more deserving than guys like Jon Kitna or Trent Green.

why do you guys think?

Definitely agree with Manning and McNair.

Brady's a good choice, he's already close to 3,000yds passing, but his TD/Int is 15/12.

Green's another good choice, his TD/Int is 19/9, close to 3,000yds too.

Kitna would be my choice, he plays on a team that's been terrible for the last decade. How many QB's did Cincy start last year before they stuck with Kitna? His #'s are right around Brady and Green, but he has more TD passes, and the fact that he helped turn this team around, that gives him my vote.

There's still a few games left though..............

Yeah. McNair, Manning, and Kitna would be my picks as well. Especially if the Bengals continue to win.

If Kitna keeps playing the way he has been and the Bengals keep winning , he should START the Pro Bowl .

I think Manning and McNair are shoe in's. Third spot has to be either Kitna or Brady, right now I give the nod to Brady though. He has almost single handidly kept the Pats in it.
