Foster and Boldin for MJD and DeSean?

My team is in crisis. It's a 12 team league with .5 PPR. I'm currently 2-3, having lost 3 straight weeks. My best WR is out for the season, leaving me with a laughable group of WRs, and my star TE is out indefinitely. For this reason, I see the need to take action.

I've worked out a few different offers for Foster and this is the most attractive one I've been able to negotiate thus far.

RB Maurice Jones-Drew
WR DeSean Jackson

The reason I'm considering this is because of my decimated receiving corps.

Here is my current squad: We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/RB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF.

Should I send my first-rounder packing in favor of WR depth?

U get a first rounder back who has been far more productive...and highly improve your receiving corp..I'd do it without hesitation. You are losing potential with AFost...but gaining known productivity and a potential explosive receiver...

Its tough cause Foster is an explosive scorer too. MJD is not. Sure he gets the 100 every week and a score here or there. I dont know. Desean is hit or miss. I think I would hang on to Foster.

I agree completely with latsprewell20002000. MJD should get you consistent points week in and week out, but he isn't nearly as explosive as Foster. On the other hand, I love DeSean's big play capability, but I really worry about his consistency. That being said, I don't feel like you can go wrong either way but if it were me I would probably hold on to Foster.

DJax2 gets no love and he's a stud #2 WR but not that #1 guy you need.
Very tough, but I'd pass.
