I would still have LeSean McCoy, Felix Jones, Darren Sproles, Brandon Jacobs, and Daniel Thomas at RB and Dez Bryant, Nate Washington, Jordy Nelson, and Nate Washington at WR.
The other guy also has Wes Welker on his team and I'm not sure if he'll give him up instead of Mike Wallace.
Forte has been awesome this year and Roddy White is still an elite receiver even if Wallace has passed him off, they're still in the same neighborhood.
I'm not sold on McGahee especially with Tebow stealing goalline carries now and Knowshon Moreno still lurking.
You're taking a huge downgrade at RB for a marginal, at best, upgrade at receiver IMHO. Even with your worries about Forte, you're still selling too low on him.
I would not make this trade. With Tebow being the new starter McGahee is going to have quite a few tds poached. Also, with Moreno getting back in the mix he will have more touches taken away. I think McGahee's stock is declining. Mike Wallace is real good, and depending on how many WRs and RBs are started in your league it could be worth countering to get him.
Forte is half of the Bears offense, and will stay that way the entire season, and though Julio Jones is stealing a few looks from White he is consistent. Plus I still feel like White has a few big games coming his way this season.
I like Forte too much to do this deal. I'd see what other RBs he has to offer to help with that void you would create.
QB Newton, Fitzpatrick RB McCoy, Forte, F. Jones, Sproles, B. Jacobs, and D Thomas WR White, Bryant, N. Washington, Branch, J. Nelson TE Winslow D 49ers K Hanson
He has
QB Rodgers, Bradford RB Blount, McGahee, Mendenhall, R. Williams, and McCluster WR Welker, Wallace, Mike WIlliams TB, Mike Williams SEA, Knox TE Cook D Packers, Giants K Bironas
Roddy will get his. Ryan targets him just as much, if not more than any QB/WR tandem in the league.
You are worried about Forte falling off? He is way younger than McGahee.
McGahee is the one very likely to fall off towards the end of the year, especially since he is playing so well right now and they are feeding him the ball. Not to mention he is way older than Forte.
I agree, this is not a good trade for you. Forte right now is doing amazing and the Bears are running their offense through him both through the run and pass. Roddy will come around, he's got Carolina this week which is a good matchup, not great. He's got his bye coming up and hopefully he can get this pesky thigh deal to pass.
I like Forte way more then McGahee, and I still like White better then Wallace, although that one is a lot closer
