Dez Bryant for Willis mcgahee?

Postby liquidvet » Wed Oct 12, 2011 6:18 am

I am in need of a rb2 in my 1 pt ppr league. Someone proposed this trade to me but I think it undervalues dez. Could I counter for Steve Jackson, or am I dreaming?

No deal!

McGahee is putting up decent yards, but he only has 1 TD, and that was 'before' this Tebow mania. His chances of a TD each weak are LOW.

Dez, he's battled an injury, as well as extra coverage with Austin out. Now that things are coming into place, he's about to show his potential. I could see him and Austin taking turns catching TDs all year. And you know Romo has a couple TDs a week to give.

So i passed on that. What about Steven Jackson? Same team. My team look slike this

Brees
Foster, Greene, Hightower, Tate, Helu
Roddy, Steve Johnson, Dez Bryant, Jordy Nelson, Demarius Thomas
Owen Daniels

I figure I can afford to get rid of one of my wr's but I am so thin at RB.

If not Sjax what are some decent rb2s that have value going forward? Thanks

I don't think you're deep enough at WR to lose Dez. I understand having a huge fall-off after your RB1, I'm in the same boat. I also have Dez. I'd rather hold guys like Tate, Helu, Hardesty, Ridley, Torain, Battle, etc and pray than get rid of Dez though. I'd just stay put and play waivers. Trading requires you to be overstacked at one pos, which I don't think you are.

With Nelson you actually can afford to deal Dez Bryant for a RB.
Maybe Bryant+Greene for a stud RB-2 and a throw in WR with upside.

Maybe a combo of Matt Forte+Nate Washington.
