I offered someone Santonio Holmes for Green-Ellis. He declined and said Holmes was a deal breaker and that if I offered Santana Moss that he might consider. Then he said maybe Moss for McGahee would be considerable due to point totals so far this season.
I am currently weak at RB and in need of one, while I am stacked at WR.
Do you think I should offer again, this time Santana Moss for Green-Ellis? Is that an ok trade?
If he won't let Green-Ellis go, and instead wants to give McGahee, what do you guys think about that? My concern is the return of Tebow.
Here is my team: QB - Freeman, Grossman RB - Gore, Tomlinson, K. Hunter, Redman WR - Calvin Johnson, Miles Austin, Holmes, Moss TE - Ben Watson, Dustin Keller
I also have some trading power with Austin.
The other managers main RBs are Rice, Green-Ellis and McGahee
QB - RGIII WR - R. Wayne, A.J. Green, Antonio Brown, L. Moore RB - M. Forte, Rashad Jennings, D. Murray, R. Mendenhall, J. Dwyer TE - J. Witten, A. Gates Flex - T. Richardson K - R. Gould DEF - Bears
I think McGahee will be looking at a decreased role in the offense, especially in the fact that I believe Tebow will take away some of his goal-line carries, which is where McGahee flourishes.
Dont expect huge games from BJGE like last week to become a regular thing. He is still in the NE offense which will always resort to the pass. But BJGE will continue to get plenty of TD opportunities.
Time to revisit this. He doesn't want to give up BJGE but has agreed to my Holmes for his McGahee
I know all the talk about McGahee losing goal line carries to Tebow, but it seems McGahee is getting multiple 100 yard games and maybe occasional touchdowns
Is this worth it? I need help at the RB2 position badly.
And I am benching Holmes most weeks anyways. My plan is to pick up Manningham off waivers because he has been sitting there. And use him as BYE week fill in for 1 week when Megatron is off
