Triple Threat RB, should I look to deal?

Postby GreatGoku » Wed Oct 12, 2011 12:24 pm

I'm 4-1 in a standard ESPN league, with CJ2k warming up, it seems I have a three-headed giant at RB, with Foster/Johnson/Forte. Now that Austin and Colston are back as well, I'm no longer hurting at WR. So is my roster solid and set to make a run for the championship, or should I look to deal one of my star RBs, or maybe one of my backups?

QB: Matt Schaub (HOU)
RB: Chris Johnson (TEN)
RB: Arian Foster (HOU)
RB/WR: Matt Forte (CHI)
WR: Miles Austin (DAL)
WR: Marques Colston (NO)
TE: Vernon Davis (SF)
D/ST: New York Giants
K: Jason Hanson (DET)

Bench:
QB: Matt Hasselbeck (TEN)
RB: James Starks (GB), Cedric Benson (CIN), Jackie Battle (KC), DeAngelo Williams (CAR)
WR: Devery Henderson (NO), Greg Little (CLE)

A roster like that makes me think of collusion. But all of that aside, it's mighty impressive. I would probably try to acquire more receiver depth by trading from your bench which is also pretty stacked. To be honest, you could just pick and choose and you should end up doing well. Things look like they are going swimmingly to say the least. Nice roster.

I think I'd be worse off if there was collusion lol. Somehow I timed the draft right, when Foster had his nagging injury and CJ2K hadn't signed his new deal yet. So I got Foster at the bottom of the 1st, and Johnson at the top of the 2nd, Forte in the 3rd, and Austin/Colston in the 4th and 5th. But yea, I've tried dealing Benson for a WR, but no one seems to be biting, even teams with glaring RB problems :/
