Post draft Roster Week 6

Postby Freakyllama » Wed Oct 12, 2011 9:55 pm

Here is my roster.
Starters
QB- Ryan Fitzpatrick
RB- Deji Karim
RB- Adrian Peterson
RB/WR- Victor Cruz
WR- Dez Bryant
WR- Santonio Holmes
TE- Visanthe Shiancoe
D/ST- Vikings
K- John Kasay

Bench:
Chris Johnson *BYE*
Matt Schaub
Antonio Gates *BYE*
Marshawn Lynch *BYE*
Deion Branch
Nate Washington *BYE*
Early Doucet *BYE*
D/ST- Titans *BYE*
Jacoby Jones

I recently traded Cam Newton/Dexter McCluster for Adriand Peterson/Ryan Fitzpatrick. Hope that wasn't a terrible idea. Also, another team wants to trade me Mark Ingram for Santonio Holmes. I have no idea what to do with this. I think Ingram would be a good repalcement for the worthless Karim, but I don't want to give up Holmes. This BYE week is really hurting my usual starters, however, even with them all playing, I haven't been doing well. Record is currently 1-4. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks everyone for your time

I'd think you should stay where you're at. 1 week with Karim can't be too terrible. Keep Holmes and tough it out this week or look at the wire. You bench has depth at RB so you should be fine next week.

Or even better, drop Karim. Holding onto him hoping MJD sits out with an injury is foolish I'd say. Check out the waiver wire. I bet you can find somebody else that will at the least be part of a RB committee. Even though there will be some timeshare, I'd venture a guess that someone else would get more looks than Karim. Torain is hot right now and looks promising. Earnest Graham in TB is another one as Blount seems like he might sit week, at least split carries until he is 100% again.

There isn't anyone to drop him for. He's sadly my best bet for anything close to ten points this week.

Wow, I would have imagined he be projected at about 2, tops. But if he's your best bet I'd say stick with it for this week, you should be fine for week 7. However, make sure to keep your eye out on the wire, you never know you might do something to your advantage.

I'll keep my eye open. I'm just hoping my WRs can pull together and get me enough points for a win for once. =)
