I'm in a 10 team dynasty league, 1ppr, 6pts all tds, we start 1 qb, 2 rb, 3wr, 1te, 1k, 2idps. We have 25 man rosters, have a 3 rd rookie draft each year. So CJ poor this year, should I make a push to get him on his bye week? We can trade players and draft picks, I currently have 2 first round draft picks for the 2012 draft. I was thinking of offering the higher of my 2 draft picsk, Nelson, Bradshaw for CJ, any thoughts? Thanks, WHIR ROSTER: MY TEAM- QB- Eli, Ryan, Flynn WR- Calvin, Fitz, Colston, Nelson, M. Thomas, S. Rice, Decker, Manningham RB- AP, Bradshaw, Benson, Green-Ellis, Starks, Hardesty, Ridley, M. Bush TE- Gronkowski, Daniels, Clark
HIS ROSTER- QB- Stafford, Schaub, Bradford, Locker, Tebow WR- Jennings, VJax, Branch, Ward, RB- CJ, Sproles, R. Bush, McCluster, M. Barber, D. Karim, A. Green TE- Davis, Fasano
I think you are offering a little too much with the two pics. I would offer 1 pick or none because CJ2k has been average to slightly above average forthe past 1.5 yrs. Start with 1 pick and if he rejects it you still have the offer to counter with 2 picks or walk away
Alright...I like the idea of buying Chris Johnson now. YOu can see from the replies so far what people think of him, so you can get him for sure. It's worth the gamble, even if he doesn't pan out, because if he does, your team goes from good to great. The question is, what to offer.
If it were me, I wouldn't give up a first rounder next year unless I thought that he was, for sure, going to turn your team into a title contender. I would likely start with Bradshaw and Nelson. If he balked, I'd perhaps include a second rounder. If he balked again, and didn't counter, I'd likely let it go, or...simply offer him your lowest first rounder next year, and maybe Bradshaw. Don't oversell for a sell low guy. Remember...get him low...

I'm always going to error on the side of upside so I like the deal, but you should definitely try to avoid the 1st. Don't start there. Offer Bradshaw+Nelson and see what happens. If the picks are required I'd probably give it a pass.
