16 Team PPR league - need help at WR....WHIR 100%!

Postby nandaman » Thu Oct 13, 2011 2:33 pm

Okay, I am in a deeep 16 team league and I have two great starting WRs in Dez Bryant and Mike Wallace and a decent third in Plaxico Burress. I am very thin at WR#4 - here are my options. Who would you rather have for the rest of the season....(non-keeper league)

1) Preston Parker
2) Donario Alexander
3) Harry Douglas
4) Mike Sims-Walker

Thoughts?

Out of those 4 I like Danario Alexander. He has by far the most star potential, and none of them is particularly appealing. I think this one will be subject to change on a weekly basis.

Help me?

I kinda like Parker this week. I can see TB playing from way behind all game! Freeman will have to throw all day long and Parker has proven viable. I think a stat line of 6/80/1 is not unrealistic this week.

I'd probably also go Alexander for the year out of those 4.

Have to agree with Parker, don't get me wrong I'm not a huge fan, just slim pickings for you.

Thanks for your help on mine.

Not sure if I'm going to be much help. I would go with Parker, with Alexander a close second. Douglas will take a back seat once Julio Jones comes back. I think both Parker and Alexander will get looks the rest of the season, as both teams will be playing from behind quite a bit (Tampa Bay more so than expected). So I think it comes down to whether you'd rather have Freeman or Bradford throwing to your receiver, I think that gives the slight edge to Parker.

i like Denario this week as fill in #3. they will be playing behind and throwing. two weeks for his balky knee to rest. he leads the team in targets past three weeks. leads team in red zone targets as well. this guy has most upside, but who knows how his knee will be week after week. i do like him a lot this week, personally starting him over Nelson on Buffalo, which goes against most projections.
