After I started Hightower today, I hate Mike Shanahan!

I bailed on Hightower on game day after a rotoworld report came out saying that Torain would start and get the "lion's share." Early in the week reports had Tim Hightower perhaps even starting. After the game day report I reasoned that Hightower would have equal or fewer carries than Helu, at which point they might as well hold him out altogether, which they unfortunately did. I should have retracted my public endorsement before game time. Sorry about that

As for Torain, all I can say is that the game was not as close as the score would indicate. Rex was completely ineffective and we were down 20-0 early in the first half, rendering the running game obsolete. Torain still got the bulk of the carries, we just went almost exclusively pass pass pass almost right away.

I think yesterday's game was more of an aberration than anything else and I still say the outlook for Torain is good for the immediate future. If/when he gets hurt, who knows? but I'd probably rather have Helu than Hightower if I could only keep one handcuff.
