Megatron & Torain for V-Jax & F-Jax WHIR!!

Postby nkjordan2323 » Fri Oct 14, 2011 11:30 am

I am in a 14 team PPR league and am hurting with my depth. I picked up Torain, but have little faith with him running through Shannahan's unpredictable offense. If he fails to impress this week, he has little value going forward. This deal would give me an every week starter at both positions. In our league, we have lots of flexibility with starters. Here is my squad:

QB - Stafford
RB - McFadden
RB/WR - Chris Johnson
RB/WR - Torain
WR/TE - Calvin Johnson
WR/TE - Hernandez
K - Bryant
D - SF

B - Battle
B - Manningham
B - Clark
B - McCluster
B - M. Bush

I would get a top 10 WR and a top 8 RB for the #1 WR and #? RB in Torain. Would you do this?
QB - Stafford
RB - Rice
RB/WR - Maclin
RB/WR - Decker
WR/TE - Gronk
WR/TE - Gates
K - Nugent
D - Bills

B - A. Collie
B - C. Palmer
B - D. Henderson
B - R Williams
B - A. Morris

No way dude!! Fred Jackson can't keep this pace up. Especially if the passing game struggles and they really lean on him. Khttp://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/for ... =503663eep The monster MEGATRON! Biggest playmaker in football. help with mine if you can.

I would hold off on this trade, Megatron is just too valuable right now and you aren't getting enough in return.

help with mine please:

I'd probably do it.
Calvin and Stafford are not the most reliably healthy combo in the world and Calvin is THE reciever on that team. someone has got to be able to find a way to stop, check that, Slow, his performance.
VJax is coming through a slow spell and last I looked he has a great end of season schedule and can put up Mega-comprable points.
Fred Jax is still under rated and steady as they come. i see the Bills wanting to rely more on the run and that does not mean Spiller.

torain is totally a wild card here but has three backs that are about the same skill set and he has Shannahan. He might only put up #1 stats every couple weeks. With your bench weakness I feel you need to add some steady talent. Maybe you could do a little better in theory but in reality you only have your league to deal with and that usually means you can't count on what CJMega is REALLY worth because he is only worth what someone can afford to trade you.
i think that made sense.

I think it's a good deal that is only better if you can give up less like maybe Bush? i know you have McFadden but Bush isn't really that good a handcuff if you ask me, (which I just pretended you did) he may get the carries but he a bit of a stiff. If McFfaden goes down the Raiders season is over.
Unless Tiawan is really good

I would do this all day. F-Jax is on one of the best offenses in football, and v-jax can put up huge numbers ANY day, only problem is his consistency.
