Huge Trade (need advice)

This is the Trade:

Send Michael Vick, Phi QB from QB to Forte's
Send Beanie Wells, Ari RB from RB/WR to Forte's
Send Owen Daniels, Hou TE from TE to Forte's
Send Reggie Wayne, Ind WR from Bench to Forte's

Receive Matt Schaub, Hou QB from Forte's to Bench
Receive Darren Sproles, NO RB from Forte's to Bench
Receive Dallas Clark, Ind TE from Forte's to Bench
Receive Dwayne Bowe, KC WR from Forte's to Bench
Receive Cedric Benson, Cin RB from Forte's to Bench

I have both Forte and Jones-Drew, and he has an over-abundance of good receivers, 10 team league.

First, welcome to the Cafe. Now ill dive in and try to make something of this trade offer...

Vick vs Schaub-- Schaub
Wells vs Sproles-- Even
Daniels vs Clark-- Daniels
Wayne vs Bowe-- BOWE

Then you get Benson as a throw in. So I think you upgrade at QB, upgrade at RB cause you get Sproles and Benson, downgrade at TE, and major upgrade at WR.

So as long as you are okay with starting Clark at TE then I say do it. Im guessing the big part of the trade was getting Bowe, and hell dumping Wayne is good too haha.

I would do it. Vick, Wells, both injury prone guys, and Wayne cant do anything. Sucks to lose Daniels but you cant get Bowe without giving up something.

I have not seen your entire roster but maybe think about trying Jones Drew and Benson for ADP or Arian. Most likely wont work but it could. And you would still have Sproles for RB3..

Thanks for the reply. Dallas Clark is absolutely worthless right now. I am looking week-to-week to see if a waiver TE will emerge - or perhaps seeing if Clark actually starts getting some looks.

Yup, agree on the worthless part. Just keep looking on the WW, maybe Ballard?

With out seeing your roster it hard to say for sure but It looks like a good deal for you. You would be upgrading @WR and RB but TE is gonna be a stinker. Maybe look at the F/A to find someone better than Clark (shouldnt be hard). IMO Vick is WAY over rated and Schaub is some what under rated, so I would call that a wash. Take it!
