Brees + Texans D for Lesean McCoy + Ravens D

Postby NeoData » Sat Oct 15, 2011 5:41 am

Hi everyone as you can see I'm new here and looking for some feedback on a trade I'm considering.
Drew Brees + Texans D for Lesean McCoy + Ravens D
I play in a 2 QB 3RB league and currently have Rodgers , Brees and Newton.
My RB are Hillis , Forte and Lynch.
So is this a good deal to make.

Once i read the 2 QB league I was going to say no. QBs are the most valuable in those leagues. However, you have Rodgers, Brees, and Newton. Not sure how you ended up getting Brees and Rodgers....

I would make this deal so fast. You obviously need RB help and you cant start all 3 QB's. Newton has proved that he can put up big fantasy numbers.

Welcome to the cafe!!!

Thanks for the quick reply and welcome.
I too was stunned I was able to get Rodgers and Brees and after a couple of weeks of seeing Newton in action I was in awe of my *cough lucky cough* draft .
But serioulsy now I was able to get Rodgers because almost everyone picked a RB in the 1st round and as I had a late pick in 1st round I ended up in position to draft both rodgers and Brees.I think the 3RB slots got almost everyone thinking RB. I had a hard time passing on Foster and McCoy in the 1st round but stuck to the plan and drafted QB's with 1st 2 picks.

I would do it in a heartbeat. Shady is a stud and Ravens D is better than that of the Texans. Throw on top of that that you have Newton to fill in the second starting spot, DO IT DO IT DO IT

Ok can you do me a favor, post your complete roster and FAs also?
YES TO TRADE
You will probably want to snag a b/u QB just in case. Maybe grabbing a handcuff to one of your starting QBs at least for insurance's sake.
