VJax for Best? WHIR

10 team ppr keeper.

QBs: Cam Newton, Flacco, Campbell
My Rbs are Hightower, Mccoy, BGE, K. Hunter
WRs: Miles Austin, VJax, Boldin, Torrey Smith, Meachem, David Nelson
TEs: Olsen, Gronkowski

after a long discussion he wants Vjax, for His Best.

I have a terrible week 7 bye coming up were i will only have 1 RB to fill in the to RB slots so Best would solve that problem.
The downfall is...I will have an RB either Hightower or BGE that will have to sit on my bench everyweek.

I know most think hightower is nothing, but im a bit of guru at this stuff. I see Torain as an injury waiting to happen , and hightowers flawless health since a rookie has showed me he will probably never miss a game. he is just superior pass blocker. I just dont want a nice RB3 like him to go to waste on my bench.
Im also a bit worried about my shaky reciever core after the trade. Miles Austin is my only consistent WR. Yeah i have boldin but hes an any given sunday WR. he can flop or he can produce WR1 numbers. Nelson Im a big fan of to emerge as a Solid WR3. then i have meachem, and torrey smith. Sean Peyton causes hell for fantasy owners. meachem can go off any week as well as putting up a dud.

My main questions are. Will teh VJax for best make my team better in the long run? or will It hurt me more than it helps?

I agree with you about Hightower. I had Best & Hightower rated about the same preseason, and I think it could still end up that way. It also seems that your league setup is very WR heavy.

I would not do this deal. I don't think you can afford to lose V. Jax. And, Best is so matchup dependent. I don't like it.

i wouldn't do it... Vjax has the capability of having huge games... best has had some good ones too but johnson will always be the number 1 target and pettigrew is getting up there too... hold on to jax and try to wait for him to have a good game then sell high. u can get something better then best for him.

I like your team as is. You don't need Best. Your WR's would be pretty weak after this deal. Definitely hang on to V.Jax.
