Should I trade Cam for M. Turner? WHIR 100%

Postby geeksincleats » Sun Oct 16, 2011 1:35 am

So I picked up Cam after week 1 or 2. I would like to use him to improve my lineup at RB since I feel I'm weak there. I have Rivers and have faith in him going forward and would have no problem starting him every week. Im in a 12 team PPR league that is incredibly trade stingy.

My Line up:

QB: Cam Newton & Philip Rivers
WR: VJax, Santana Moss, Mike Williams (TB), Lance Moore
RB: Ray Rice, Daniel Thomas, Mark Ingram, Knowshawn Moreno, Stevan Ridley
TE: Kellen Winslow

The trade proposal is Cam & Kellen for Michael Turner & Dustin Keller.

Turner is 12th at RB in our scoring format. So I figure two RB1s would be pretty beasty.

Tell me what you think and post your question link too!

Looks like a good deal for you but unless the Turner owner has RB depth and really needs a QB I dont think he is going to accept it.

Thankfully, this trade offer was proposed to me.

The only problem is that if I give up Newton this week, I have to go to the Waiver wire to pickup a QB since Rivers is on a bye. It puts me in jeopardy this week but I think it helps me for the rest of the year.

I like the trade also. Who are your QB options on the FA wire?

I'd be going to the Waiver wire for Alex Smith this week who has 2x back to back 20+ point games in our leagues scoring format. I'm not thrilled, but I'll take it.

I'd definitely make that deal. Cam is far from a sure thing as a rookie QB, so he'll still have his growing pains. Turner is an elite 15-20 pt per week running back. With Rivers anchoring you QB this deal is a no brainer.

Help with mine? viewtopic.php?f=18&t=504189

Yes you should pull off this Trade but you need to pick up a 2nd qb on the waiver wire as well if you take this trade.
