Flex Position Grant, Redman, FA? WHIR

Postby nocode » Sun Oct 16, 2011 9:36 am

I'm leaning on making a FA pickup for my flex. Ryan Grant probably won't do anything and looks like Mendenhall is good to go for today. Options on the FA pool: Torrey Smith, Jacoby Jones, James Jones, Carnell Williams. I'd pick up Bush, but someone just dropped him and he's still on waivers.

Post your link and I will help out!

I dont know which bush you are talking about. I assume Michael Bush though.

I think you have to go with James Jones based on your options. He's the third target in GB and has ARod slinging it. Sjax is healthy so no Caddy. Torrey is about to go back to the bench as Lee Evan returns. Jacoby Jones is an interesting option, but Schaub is banged up and JJ drops alot of passes.

You're able to get someone who is on Waivers (not a FA) using a waiver pick on a Sunday? I've never seen that.

I would skip on Reggie. You'll have great WW priority if you dont burn it up on Reggie first off. And second off Reggie isn't very attractive as the Dolphins game planners hardly are utilizing him. Daniel Thomas practiced all week starting on Tuesday. He gets an extra day to rest since they play Monday night, and he will probably see more carries than Reggie. Reggie is a third down back and we saw last week that Lex Hilliard took away a goal line carry from Reggie. It just isnt that appealing to me, frankly.

Go with James Jones, save the waiver wire pick. GB is about to obliterate the Rams today. Jones will get his.

Id go with James Jones if I were you. With Rodgers throwing to him, any week could be a big week for him, especially with Jermichael Finley struggling the way he has.

Help with mine?
