Getting Decker&Holmes for Matty Ryan...WHIR...

Postby slickdaddy96 » Mon Oct 17, 2011 11:19 am

Next week I got bad bye week issues. I have been looking to trade off Matt Ryan for a while, and with 3 straight decent games I think his stock has gone up. I am in 12 team league with 0.5 PPR starting: QB, 3WR, 2RB, TE, K, Def.

My Roster:
QB: Newton, Ryan, Tebow
WR: Gaffney, Wayne, D. Nelson(bye), Cruz(bye)
RB: Forte, Jones-Drew, P Thomas, Tomlinson
TE: Keller, V. Davis

I am proposing Ryan to him to get Decker and Holmes. I have 1 WR to fill for next week. Is this a good trade? I think he will take it cause he has QB issues. Also who on my bench do I drop to get the 2 for 1 deal? Nelson would be my first though of dropping, but I am not sure. Here are the WR's on the waiver wire: Jacoby Jones, Davonne Bess, D. Alexander, D. Hester, B. Hartline, Sanzenbacher, and a bunch more... Are any of those worth picking up and dropping Nelson or some other player and just not deal with the trade this week? I don't have a great waiver priority 8 or 9 so there is a chance even if I put in for any decent person like Hester he may be gone.

I got issues with the Defense on bye also, but I have Philly's defense and I am unsure if I should just drop/add them for someone else just because I am pretty confident someone else will pick-up Philly if I drop them. So suggestions there would be great also. I may just roll with one roster spot empty if I have to just so I don't drop anyone of value.

I will help in return if you post a link.

Get Holmes for sure. I don't care for Decker though.

Decker is not worth anything IMO, but Holmes is a great buy low player and you could really use a solid WR. I would do it.

I don't like Decker either, but I think Ryan is worth more than just Holmes. He just doesn't have any other receivers worth getting. I might look and see if he has other people on his bench worthy of a trade that I can just trade off to someone else.

Do you think Ryan and Holmes is even? I think he should give me more.
