Trade RunDMC or Rice for Megatron? WHIR

Postby mjhokie » Mon Oct 17, 2011 2:59 pm

Starters and Bench - (PPR league - scoring at bottom) -

QB - Newton
RB - McFadden
RB - Rice
RB/WR - Mathews
WR - Fitzgerald
WR - Branch
WR/TE - Hernandez
TE - Gresham
DST - Steelers
K - Gostowski

QB - Eli Manning
QB - Fitzpatrick
WR - Manningham
WR - Avant
RB - Redman

As you can see, I am solid at RB, but week at WR (especially with Fitz not having top year).

I have been offered Nicks for Mathews. I also think I could get Dez Bryant for Mathews. There is also the possibility of getting Megatron or another Top 3 WR for either McFadd or Rice.

Should I?

(1) Take Nicks for Mathews
(2) Take Bryant for Mathews
(3) Trade Rice or McFadden for Megatron or other top 3 WR
(4) Keep starting my 3 top RBs and rely on current WRs

NOTE - Also trying to trade a QB for WR/RB, but not a single 'bite' yet. (My QBs are #3, #6, and #8 in 12 team league. #3, #7, and #13 in overall points)

Thanks! WHIR

No and No. Your depth at RB isn't good and I'd rather have those two RB's over Megatron. I also like Mathews a lot this year. He's getting it done on the ground and air. If you really need to do something then I guess try and trade Mathews for a good WR.

Help?

FA's at WR or RB very slim....Top 10 WR/RB FA's by league fantasy points

Doug Baldwin
Doucet
Henderson
Denarius Moore
Torrey Smith
Addai
Obomanu
Hartline
Jason Hill
Jerome Simpson

I am going to try and get Simpson and drop Avant (3rd on Waivers list so might happen).
I think Dalton is going to start looking a lot more to him.
