WR to pick up? WHIR

Postby MMhawk607 » Mon Oct 17, 2011 8:13 pm

Alright here's my roster
Big Ben - QB
Fred Jackson - RB
Daniel Thomas - RB
Greg Jennings - WR
Dez Bryant - WR
Owen Daniels - TE
Cedric Benson - W/R
Jason Hanson - K
Pittsburgh Steelers - DEF

Bench:
Steven Jackson - RB
Rashard Mendenhall - RB
Beanie Wells - RB
Philip Rivers - QB
Santana Moss - WR
Antonio Gates - TE

I JUST picked up Beanie Wells because one of the owners in the league was dumb enough to drop him JUST because he had a bye this week lol.

So my problem. I have SIX RB's. and only three WR's. So I want to drop Benson (not putting up impressive numbers, might face suspension anyways and my other RB's totally outmatch him) for a WW wide receiver. Jennings, and Bryant are pretty solid for me right now anyways. Moss is kind of 'ehh' he has his ups and downs. I just use him for a Green-Bay/Dallas bye week.

So my question is WHO do I pick up when I drop Benson?

Jordy Nelson is the best one available atm (stat-wise)
Here's the other WR's available.

If you drop Benson you would be just as dumb as the owner who dropped Wells. Instead bundle him w/ another player to upgrade @ another position. Benson is the feature back and the workhorse so he has value to someone. Look for a team that has RB needs and try for a trade.

Agreed that u should be trying to do a 2 for 1 trade.

Of the group of available, I'd def take Nelson.

I'll definitely try... One of the teams I tried to trade with declined. I tried to include Benson with someone else to get Maclin but he wouldn't give it up. Even though all his RB's were picked up off WW (Sproles, McGahee, Addai) so he might just be stubborn or stupid. I mean he IS 1-5 and has like 4 QB's on his team. So forget trade with that guy lol
