Johnson for Johnson WHIR

Postby ian » Mon Oct 17, 2011 8:47 pm

This is probably one of the stupidest questions I've ever asked and I'm sure I'll feel like an idiot when I re-read this, but here goes:

12 Team Non-PPR Standard Scoring

I've been offered: Brees/A. Johnson
for
C. Johnson/Dez Bryant

I like the deal, but I'm concerned with Johnson's injury and whether or not it's as simple as it now sounds. My WR's aren't the best without Bryant, but I imagine I'm an idiot for not assuming that Johnson's skills outweigh that fact. Sidney Rice is a toss in at this point too.

Roster below.

QB: Cam Newton
RB: Arian Foster
RB: Darren McFadden
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: Steve Johnson
WR: A.J. Green
TE: Jimmy Graham
K: Alex Henry
DEF: Falcons

BN: Chris Johnson
BN: Dallas Clark
BN: Johnny Knox
BN: Jacoby Jones
BN: Eli Manning

I agree with the other posters. I'd make the deal since you have two top backs already and then try trading Newton for a back. I had Newton behind Rodgers so I traded him for Stevie to upgrade at WR.

Please help with mine?

If you can move Newton for an upgrade or RB depth, I would do this deal for sure.
Brees/Manning is sick QB combo.
