In a 16-team PPR league, I gave up Victor Cruz and Mike Williams (TB) for Rashard Mendenhall.

Needed an upgrade at the RB2 position. I have Miles Austin, Dez Bryant, Greg Little, and David Nelson on my team so I felt like I could give up Cruz and Williams. I don't buy Cruz keeping it going, and Williams has been consistently disappointing all year.

You win if WIlliams keeps underachieving and not being a big part of TB's offense. Like you said Cruz probably wont keep things going because of Nicks and co. I like this move! Help with mine? viewtopic.php?t=504338

In a 16 team league starting RBs are virtually impossible to get but you can possibly snag a depth WR or two (if you need a replacement WR and everything has been picked over).
I'd look at picking up Mark Clayton or Naaman Roosevelt.
