Standard league settings-ESPN
Currently sitting at 5-1 with this roster
Rivers/Cutler
Peterson
R.Mathews
McGahee/Earnest Graham
Welker
Fitzgerald/DeS. Jackson/Garcon
Finley
Titans D
Alex Henery
Rivers is off to another garbage start and I'm seriously considering making 2 very big moves. I've looked at the schedule for Mathews and it's not that favorable. A guy in the league is 2-4 and desperate for a running back. He has Aaron Rodgers with Cam Newton on the bench and I'm pretty sure I can acquire Rodgers straight up for Mathews. Mathews schedule is brutal during playoff time as well.
Also considering DeSean Jackson+Larry Fitzgerald+Willis McGahee for Frank Gore+Jets D. Guy is desperate for receivers(starting Burress and Brandon Marshall). Jackson is going to do nothing at the end of the season IMO, McGahee would be a filler. I like Gore's matchups at the end of the season and the Jets D would be a balance, he has the Ravens D so I can probably get it for cheapish.

If you can get Rodgers for Mathews straight up I wouldn't hesitate on that at all... but I think that you would be giving up too much for just Gore and Jets D. Defenses are really a dime a dozen and you can pretty much play them week to week. Gore is solid and I have him on two of my leagues... but he is injury-prone so I still remain skeptical. I think with a record like 5-1 you should be messing around too much with your line-up too much. I would try Jackson + McGahee for just Gore first and see if he takes that.
