Trading AP...thoughts

12 Team Salary Cap Keeper
PPR

Been in the league 7 years. Made some good runs to the playoffs, but never sealed the deal.

That being said, picked up AP in his rookie draft and he's obviously paid dividends for me, keeping my cap down and racking up the points.

However, over the course of a few years, the guys who I thought would pan out for cheap are now faltering, aging, and starting to flatline.

Thinking of trading away AP, looking towards the future, keep the few value stars and re-building.

Offer on the table is:

(He also has Vjax, which I can try and steal, but his salary is HIIIIIGH!!)
Cam Newton
Sidney Rice
Mike Tolbert

for

AP

Rest of my team really really really is hurting. Many FA acquisitions, etc. Cant keep holding on to AP thinking he alone will get the job done.

QB:Jason Campbell, Kevin Kolb, Sanchez, Henne, Tebow (Not all current, but you can see what has happened this year)
RB: Addai, Hightower, Danny Woodhead, AP (Hurting here too)
WR: Bowe, Jordy Nelson, M. Crabtree, Deion Branch, D. Bess, Jacoby Ford
TE: J. Graham, Todd Heap
K: Suisham, Bironas
D: Chargers, Bills

Not sure you can give him up considering your RB situation... Cam and AP are = to me in a PPR. Not sure how the Cap/Keeper thing works out. I think you would need more but that's just my gut... Cam does make it exciting though it's only be 6 games... I think he's the real deal. He lost his RG though correct? I think AP gives you another 4+ great years IMO
