Newton and Mathews for Rice and Dez

Postby GoldenHawk » Wed Oct 19, 2011 7:16 pm

Hey guys,

10 team, 2 qb, 3wr, 2rb, flex, TE league. Keeper. PPR league. 4 pts passing tds, 6 pts rushing and receiving.

I have been offered Rice and Dez for Cam and Mathews.

QB- Cam
QB- Schaub
WR- Welker
WR- Jennings
WR- Marshall
RB- Mathews
RB- Sjax
Flex- Lynch

Bench- Palmer, Hassel, Hardesty, Torrey Smith.

I am tempted to do this deal because both Rice and Dez are through their bye and the playoff race is pretty tight (im 3-3 with the most points, 1st place is 4-2 -- 6 teams are 3-3 or 4-2 so avoiding a bye is pretty helpful) and the upgrade to Dez at flex over lynch is pretty substantial in my eyes now that dez looks healthy again.

Also, starting 2 of Palmer, Hassel and Schaub seems like a pretty good set of qbs. Cam i like but worry hes going to slow down and is always a risk to get hurt given how much he runs especially down at the goalline.

Rice i view as the #1 back in a ppr.

What do you think???? WHIR

I really like the sound of the trade. Your WR slot will be jacked. RB will improve a little bit, but QB will drop off a bit. You are selling Newton while he is hot, which is perfect. Dez should continue to do well if he stays healthy, too.

You should also be OK at QB, especially if Palmer pans out.
