Drop Starks or HT? Who to pick up?

Postby HotHandz305 » Fri Oct 21, 2011 11:44 am

Right now I have Starks started at my Flex position due to J. Best's injury. I'm not really a fan of Starks and wouldnt expect more than 5-7 pts from him unless he gets a Lucky TD. I also have Tim Hightower on my bench who is supposed to be 100% healthy now but still haven't heard about him getting the start and even so Torain and the evil Shanahan are still there. Though I do think Hightower presents the best upside if he gets back in his earlyer role as lead back.

With that said who do you think is best to drop of the two to pick up a better flex play for this week and possibly moving forward. I'm leaning alot more towards dropping Starks since Hightower may present a good future value.

My best options to pick up are.

Maurice Morris
Jonathan Stewart
Ryan Torain
Doug Baldwin
Steve Breaston
Sidney Rice
Jackie Battle
Greg Little

If anyone could try and pick maybe a top 2 or 3 and also mention who you think is best to drop between Hightower and Starks. Also Sidney Rice is on WW and I'm #1 but not necessarilly wanting to use it on him.

My personal top choices are Morris, Rice, Breaston, Little.

I agree with holding onto Hightower, he was great in the first few weeks and it doesnt make sense to me for Shannahan to just stop using him. They went out and got him for a reason.

As far as the waivers go I am really high on Little. Cleveland has been throwing like crazy and he is getting a ton of targets as a starter. If he scored that TD last week he would have had nearly 15 pts.

I also like Battle and im surprised hes still available in your league. If you need RB help I think he should be your primary target. I wouldnt be mad at you for dropping Starks for Battle.

Can you help me out? viewtopic.php?t=504982

My biggest concern iis I don't remember reading about Battle being the starter going forward and worries me with both Jones and McCluster there.
