trade for Welker?

Postby introspect » Fri Oct 21, 2011 3:12 pm

Owner has made Welker available, said he likes McFadden.

8 team head-to-head yahoo league.

I'm hesitant about trading McFadden. What can I offer for Welker+Best (or SJax)?

Should I try CJ2K+Lloyd+Ingram?

or what package that includes CJ2K or Turner? Or do I just suck it up and offer McFadden+Lloyd for Welker+SJax (or Best) etc..

My team:
QB: Romo || Tebow
WR: Nicks, S.Smith (CAR), Bowe || Lloyd, Crabtree
RB: MJD, CJ2K || Turner, Ingram, Battle
TE: Witten (Bye week)
K: Hanson

his team:
QB: Tom Brady, Eli Manning
WR: Welker, Marshal, Harvin, Holmes, A.J. Green
RB: Fred Jackson, Ryan Mathews, Jahvid Best, Steven Jackson,
TE: Vernon Davis
K: Sebastian Janikowski
Def: Detroit

welker and sjax for Mcfadden and lloyd looks ok to me. you should probably both combo the trade with an wr/rb combo it makes sense.

You don't have the WR depth he does. I'd ask for Bowe in return package so your WR core doesn't fall off. That would be pointless to get his #4 or #5 WR back in the deal. I wouldn't trade for damaged goods. I don't see why he'd deal Welker unless he could get a DECENT proven WR back. Like Bowe or Smith. In your shoes I'd just stick with the team I definitely have a chance at the title with your balanced team. Unless you'd want to upgrade from Romo/Eli to Brady...but its not needed really.
