Boss or Lewis- WHIR

Postby twakeman » Fri Oct 21, 2011 7:02 pm

With my only TE Aaron Hernandez on a bye this week, I need to go to the waiver wire and pick up someone who will likely only get me a couple of points at best. The waiver wire is picked clean in my 16 team league which is PPR by the way. I am trying to decide between Marcedes Lewis vs. Balt or Kevin Boss vs. KC. It's being reported that Kyle Boller, not Carson Palmer, will start for the Raiders, but I'm still leaning towards Boss for some reason. Lewis has been a tremendous bust so far this year.

Who would you go with?

Yeah I would like to see the list too. However, if I had to pick between Boss or Lewis I would pick Boss.

I'll 3rd the idea of seeing your FAs.

But between Boss and Lewis I definitely take Boss. Boller starting means he is going to be checking down to TE's alot and Oak doesnt have the greatest WR's anyways.

Little help?

Jack Del Rio is going to get Lewis involved in the passing game, however this week's matchup presents a problem: Baltimore ranks seventh in the league against the pass, giving up just under 210 yards per contest, and have held opposing tight ends to an average of two Fantasy points. That isn't good.

Boss opponent: The Chiefs enter the contest ranked 17th in pass defense, allowing 249.6 yards per contest. Kansas City has surrendered 12 touchdowns through the air and allowed an average of 8.6 Fantasy points to opposing TEs on the season.

I don't think either TE will have a great game, but Boss should snag 3-4 catches for 50 yards and give you a few points at least, better than a -0-.
