So, yeah, sorry for the bad pun, but I really need some help here. My team has been great thus far, standing at 4-2; minus some bad luck matchups I could easily be 6-0. Obviously, I couldn't be happier with such a result, but now I'm pretty worried about my team with the recent news about Jahvid Best. Please help me replace him both in the short-term (I need a Flex starter for this week) and in the long-term, since I only have 2 RB that I'm comfortable starting. This week is looking tough for me since I have a ton of players on their bye weeks, so I'm not opposed to picking up and starting a player that makes more sense for me in the longer-term, or not starting one at all.
Who should I pick up for my empty bench spot? Right now I'm between Damian Williams and Heyward-Bey for a this-week starter. Both present longer-term value, but I'm pretty stacked at WR. If I'm looking ahead, Keiland Williams would be nice to handcuff to Morris and Best, Bradford might be a better bet some weeks than I have now, and RB options like Carter, Thomas, Grant, and Choice could provide the depth I desperately need.
WW: QB: Bradford, Alex Smith, Painter, Ponder, Moore, Beck RB: Delone Carter, Keiland Williams, Pierre Thomas, Ryan Grant, Choice, Ricky Williams, Lex Hilliard, Marion Barber, Bernard Scott WR: Damian Williams, Heyward-Bey, Massaquoi, Doucet, Titus Young, Kerley, Randall Cobb, Benn, Brandon Gibson, Salas, Sanzenbacher TE: Jared Cook, Marcedes Lewis, Ballard, Shockey D/ST: Browns, Broncos, Titans, Bills, Patriots
My Team (with this weeks starter): QB - Fitzpatrick (Matt Ryan) RB1 - McCoy (Graham) RB2 - Bradshaw (Maurice Morris) FLX - Best (EMPTY) WR1 - Megatron WR2 - Hakeem Nicks (Greg Little) WR3 - Dwayne Bowe IDP: Jared Allen DST: Packers K: Crosby
Other bench than listed above: Brandon Jacobs, Julio Jones
I think Greg Little is a nice replacement for this week, but Id rather have DHB long term. I reckon Carson Palmer will be a small upgrade over Jason Campbell, meaning that DHB continus to post nice WR3 numbers.
Sam Bradford can be a nice matchup play. He will have to throw a lot because his team sux and I think he can outscore Fitzpatrick from now on.
Just my opinion based on my gut feelings. HAAHHHAHAHhA
bump... I've spent a good portion of this morning responding to those promising WHIRs, but only have one response thus far.... I'm really struggling with where to go on this one, so please help. Thanks in advance.
I agree, pick up DHB. Although Palmer is not 2008 Palmer, lets not crown Campbell as a stud either. So I think Raiders WR will not lose value this year. But for THIS WEEK, start Little over DHB.

I feel your pain. Not all people respond...
I think for this week and RoS, you would have to go with DHB. He has been the most consistent WR in OAK the past few weeks. As for RBs, not so sure if there is anyone I would try to pick. Mostly speculative picks.
Bump. I'd really like to get a little more feedback on this. Consensus is DHB, but I'm really not sold on him. The 3 OAK WR are essentially the same player and while DHB has been the best of the bunch of late a new QB could easily favor another over him. That and I just don't think he's that good anyway. No one wants to sell me on Damian Williams? Is everyone pretty convinced that Keiland Williams won't be a factor?
