Fred Jackson or Arian Foster ROS *WHIR*

Postby TBA » Sat Oct 22, 2011 10:24 am

What's up, lads?

Im a happy owner of F-Jax. Traded him for Ochocinco after week 1.

Arian Foster's owner is willing to trade him and I think I can get Foster using F-Jax.

But here's the dilemma: Will Jackson keep the pace and outplay Foster from now on? Or do you reckon Foster will be a better RB for the rest of the season?

Thank you very much.

Surprisingly, I think I'd stick with Jackson. I think he should be close to as good as Foster at the very least and I'm guessing you'd have to give up a pretty nice piece along with him to get Foster. Unless you are trying to clear space for WW pickups, or the other guy likes someone that you don't, why mess with what has worked? Also, Jackson is too important to the Bills offense, so there's less of a chance that he'll sit towards the end of the year to rest. Obviously with Foster, having a backup like Tate might make sitting more likely.

I was considering th following offer:

Fred Jackson + James Starks for Arian Foster

Foster's owner is RB2 is Pierre Thomas. I reckon Starks is a small upgrade over Thomas, but still an upgrade.

I forgot to mention that it's a 16-team non-PPR keeper league.

I'm keeping Aaron Rodgers, Adrian Peterson and probably Larry Fitzgerald.

In a keeper league you still stick with Jackson over Foster?

No, in a keeper I would make the move. Foster is head and shoulders better than Jackson.

Even this year, long term Foster. Not only that --> I'd love to keep Rodgers, AP, and Foster. That's sick.
