HATE doing this...Janikowski hurt

Postby nyr199435 » Sat Oct 22, 2011 11:02 am

This is for Team 1 in my signature. I'd hate to drop a functional roster player, especially since we have so many starter positions. But, if Janikowski is out this week that's potentially 15 or more points I'd be leaving on the bench, which could easily be the difference between a W and a L. Problem is I'm not willing to drop Janikowski himself because he's the top-ranked kicker in our league, and if he's only out this week (and on a bye next week) I'll have him for the rest of the season if I keep him. So basically, somebody has to go to have a kicker for the next two weeks. I can't drop Bradford because it's a two-QB league, and I'll DEFINITELY need a backup.

Who would drop, and which of the below kickers would you add?
Billy Cundiff
Dan Bailey
Nick Novak
Connor Barth
Adam Vinatieri

Thanks and leave a link!!

I'd probably drop Heyward-Bey. You are pretty deep at WR and while he has some upside, he's a guy that you'll never feel 100% comfortable starting thanks to his inconsistency. With that, pick up Novak, who is 9-9 on FGs in the past 2 games. The Chargers' struggling offense will have to rely on him often.

I would drop Starks? I would pick any of the first three in that order.

Lend a hand? ;-D

Heck I would drop Starks in return for a bag of ice. By all means set him free and keep SJ. As for who to pick up, I had the same problem this week and decided to roll with Nick Novak.
