WR/TE Week 8

Postby robotninja » Tue Oct 25, 2011 2:24 am

So the "flex" position in our league is WR/TE. With Finley on a bye I am in need of someone to play.

I currently have Greg Little but even after being anointed a starter has only had 2 mediocre weeks. WW options are

Jabbar Gaffney Was @ Buffalo With Moss out someone is going to have to catch the ball. Gaffney will probably get a lot of looks but it seems to be a pretty good match up against Buffalo that gives up a lot of yards and scores.

Heath Miller or Antonio Brown Pit vs NE Big Ben is having a good few weeks and will have to put up some points if they want to hang with NE. Chances are Belicheat will gameplan Wallace out of the game and everyone knows how good NE pass def is.

Devery Henderson NO vs Stl Brees tore apart Indy, but Henderson got no love. Chances are probably pretty good Brees tears apart Stl but will Devery benefit?

Davis Nelson Buff vs Was Had an early breakout but went downhill since, moved to starter 2 weeks ago and could have learned a lot about playing outside of the slot in the bye week...kind of a stretch.

After thinking I might have talked myself into Miller but the NE defense is really good in the red zone which could hurt because his value depends on TD's. Im thinking that this is a decision I will take a risk/reward decision on but let me know what you think.

I think you go fred davis... dude is getting better and better every game and it helps big time knowing cooley is out for sometime hes just going to get better looks and is a TD target in the redzone. Going against Buff i think its going to be a shootout and it helps that skins RBs are bangged up too.
