First here are the the rosters of my team and the team I am attempting to get Julio Jones from.
ME QB: Tony Romo RB: Matt Forte RB: Shonne Green RB/WR: Ryan Torian WR:Hakeem Nicks WR: Darrius Heyward-Bey TE: Brandon Pettigrew K: John Kasay DST: Matchups Bench QB: Carson Palmer RB: James Starks RB: Maurice Morris WR: Sidney Rice WR: Mario Manningham
The weakness of this group is the 2nd WR slot, although I do have 3 people Rice/DHB/Manningham, but I am looking to improve this through acquiring Julio Jones.
His roster QB: Phillip Rivers RB: LeSean McCoy RB: Isaac Redman RB/WR: Anquan Boldin WR: Julio Jones WR: Hines Ward TE: Rob Gronkowski K: Mason Crosby DST: Jets Bench: RB: Felix Jones (out for awhile) RB: Jahvid Best- uncertainity with him and should be out in near future RB: McGahee- hand injury WR: Mohamed Massaquoi TE: Fred Davis
Due to the numerous RB injuries on his team, he is having to roll out Hines Ward and Isaac Redman as his starters who in the past 5 weeks combined on averaged have each produced 4 points. So clearly this is an issue for him. I was thinking that I could trade him some combination of Morris(who could start for him while Best is out and provide insurance in case he is out for an extended period of time), and either 1 or 2 of my WR's (Rice/Manningham) for Julio Jones- I was thinking 2 WR's because his #3/4 Ward and Massaquoi aren't really roster-worthy. Any thoughts on this proposal? Also.... due to bye-week issues for week 8, I would be forced to drop James Starks for a spot starter so any ideas on how to get him in the deal?

I am not quite sure why you want Julio Jones so bad with his current injury and I think you trying to over pay for him. Definitely do not give up DHB for Jones because DHB is better than him. I would try offering Morris and Rice for Jones.
I think it could work. Hes going to like getting the best handcuff and Sydney Rice had those 2 good weeks with Tavaris. I would talk up how Tavaris is coming back and see if he'll bite.

Actually meant in the original post trying Rice and or Mannigham, and not giving up DHB (Woops)
Also, any thought how I would be able to incorporate James Starks into the deal? Because currently due to byes Forte/Greene/DHB/Starks are all on a bye so if I made this trade I would only have Nicks/Manningham/Torian/ (someone in FA to fill in for Morris) leaving with only 4 to start at the 5 RB/WR positions that I need to fill. Since I would be dropping Starks if I made this deal, any idea of how to incorporate him into the deal?
That should work, but it's not an offer that will get his attention. It helps him, but not a huge amount, and I don't know what Julio's prognosis is for the rest of the year is as far as matchups go. It's fair, but not exciting. Thanks for mine.
I would try the Rice/Morris combo for Julio and see what happens. He does need some help at RB right now and Morris would make sense to him with Best. However, you are leaving him somewhat thin (talent wise) at WR, so he might not go for it. I would say it really depends on what he thinks he can get off the waiver.
Jones is hurt right now. If he comes back, he may play well, but Manningham may also solve your problem. Plus, DHB is coming along nicely this year and with a bye week to practice with Palmer, I can see him scoring double digits a lot.
