TE this week and a W/R rest of the way **WHIR**

Postby prophecy135 » Tue Oct 25, 2011 9:55 pm

Need a TE for this week with Finley on bye in a standard scoring league, available are:

S. Chandler vs. WAS
E. Dickson vs. ARI
J. Gresham @ SEA
H. Miller vs. NE
J. Ballard vs. MIA
M. Lewis vs. HOU
J. Cook vs. IND

Also, need a W/R in a PPR league to replace Dickson who I picked up for Hernandez's bye, available are: Woodhead, Caddy (don't own S.Jax), David Nelson, MoMo, Bray Bray, Crabtree, Mark Clayton, Demaryius Thomas, Spiller, Helu (I'm not sure I like Shanahan RB's), Emmanual Sanders, the Ocho. Anyone else you can think might be available post em up.

Who'd you take and why?

Thanks for looking and as always leave a link and I'll help out!!!

I like Jared Cook, since he is playing the soft defense of Indy. And he should have plenty of chances to score.

And if you just need a W/R and dont have to start them, then I would go with Thomas. He could end up being a huge pickup down the stretch if Tebow can straighten out his accuracy.

I like Miller. He's pretty involved in the Pitt offense and they will be throwing a lot against NE.

For a fill in rb I do like Cook agianst Indy. However, I also like Gresham. He is getting a good amount of catches and has looked really good.
I would go Gresham, cook in that order.

Rest of the way i would def go With Thomas

So, for me TE is between these three:

Gresham @ SEA
Cook vs. IND
Miller vs. NE

Which would you go with and why? I'm leaning towards Miller or Cook due to matchups, Miller might be more heavily involved then Cook would be.

Went to grab Demaryius Thomas and someone put a claim in on him ahead of me.. so choices are down to: Woodhead, Caddy (don't own S.Jax), David Nelson, MoMo, Bray Bray, Crabtree, Mark Clayton, Spiller, Helu (I'm not sure I like Shanahan RB's), Emmanual Sanders, the Ocho.. I might need a WR since im not sure Andre will play this week, but its looking good so far. I'm leaning towards Crabtree or Nelson since I think I know they'll be some solid points, but Helu and Spiller are both interesting, Helu due to situation, Spiller as its a ppr league. What are your thoughts???

Leave a link and I'll help!!!

I would go with Miller since Ben has the hot hand against such a bad Pats pass D. If it was Crabs or Nelson, I would go Nelson since Crabs is going against Joe Haden most likely, Braylon Edwards is coming back stealing some targets, and rushing the ball with Gore will be a top priority.
