Waiver Options for 6-1 Team - WHIR 100%

Postby tapionminoshi » Wed Oct 26, 2011 6:53 pm

Just picked up Antonio Brown and Pierre Thomas for Maurice Morris and Carson Palmer off waivers. I need a little production this week due to heavy bye's on my squad, and thomas seems like a solid bet for 8 points or so if Ingram misses this week. My question, would you rather have any of these WR's over Brown (who i originally hated, but after watching him play, I'm sold on him becoming, if not already having become the #2 option in PITT, where Big Ben is lighting things up), or if you'd rather have any of these other players over Pierre Thomas:

WR Availability - To Replace Antonio Brown
Braylon Edwards, Torrey Smith and Plax (who i drafted in the 14th round, then sat on til 2 days before this weeks games).
(Michael Jenkins just got picked up as I was writing this, who was the other player I mainly had in mind over Brown)

RB Availability - To Replace Pierre Thomas
Maurice Morris, Keiland Williams, Leon Washington, and Roy Helu.

Big Ben is available on waivers somehow on friday, but with me 2 games clear of anyone else in the league, i get set to last on waivers every week. I'm actually 6th this week due to all the craziness that went on today, people picking up Alphonso, Bernard Scott, etc etc. So i'll put in a claim that i'm sure won't go through, but oh well.

Here's my Whole Roster, and give me some advice. I always send help back 100%, just link me. I'm 6-1 on this, my main league, and I want to get set up to crush the playoffs.

I would keep PT and Brown over those options.

Agreed. Ward is injured and since Pit is playing the Pats, Brown should have a great game. Also with Ingram injured, PT will get more snaps too.
