Does this trade improve my bench?

Postby garretterik » Thu Oct 27, 2011 1:00 am

I am tired of Kolbe. Apparently the owner of Flacco is tired of him.
I was just offered Flacco and Jordy Nelson(GB-WR) for Kolbe and SRidley(NE-RB)
I think this is a definate upgrade at QB and Nelson is a serviceable WR2 (although probably not on my team, meaning this could open up other trades). Ridley is useless unless BenJarvis Greene goes down. However, it is never good to trade away RB depth.
So maybe drop SRice or Manningham and pick up
WW
Addai, TJones, Cadillac, McCluster, Karim, or Ricky Williams are
Also MFloyd, EDecker, Doucet, and DHester are also available.

My team currently: (Yahoo head-to-head standard scoring)
QB Eli Manning (NYG - QB)
WR Calvin Johnson (Det - WR)
WR Stevie Johnson (Buf - WR)
RB Chris Johnson (Ten - RB)
RB Shonn Greene (NYJ - RB)
TE Antonio Gates (SD - TE)
W/R/T Steve Smith (Car - WR)
BN Mark Ingram (NO - RB)
BN Kevin Kolb (Ari - QB)
BN Sidney Rice (Sea - WR)
BN LaDainian Tomlinson (NYJ - RB)
BN Mario Manningham (NYG-WR)
BN Stephen Ridley (NE - RB)
BN Bernard Scott (Cin - RB)
K Mike Nugent (Cin - K)
DEF Dallas

You absolutely pull the trigger on that deal.
Flacco and Jordy Nelson are both upgrades.
You have to add Addai for someone after this deal for sure.
