Megatron/Felix Jones for Andre Johnson/Gore?

Postby alewadan » Thu Oct 27, 2011 8:32 am

Hi all,

I am 4-3 in my 14 team league and I'm trying to solidify a playoff spot. I was wondering if I should offer Calvin Johnson and Felix Jones to another owner for Andre Johnson and either Frank Gore or LeGarrette Blount. He already owns DeMarco Murray, so Felix Jones might be enticing to him since that would give him the entire Cowboys backfield. Am I asking for too much or am I giving up too much?

I am in need of a RB1 and was hoping either Gore or Blount could be that for me.

Here is my roster:

QB: Vick
RB: Torain, Battle, Felix Jones, Kendall Hunter
WR: Megatron, Brandon Lloyd, Manningham, Little
TE: Jermichael
Def: Saints
K: Janikowski

He is 2-5 and his roster looks like this:

QB: Tebow, Matt Ryan
RB: Gore, Blount, Shonn Greene, DeMarco Murray
WR: Andre Johnson, Sidney Rice, Gaffney
TE: Fred Davis, Dallas Clark
Def: Packers
K: Hanson

We get 0.5 PPR and there's no flex position.

I promise I will help you in return.

You have a definite need for a RB1. I would hate giving up Megatron but would do it knowing you're getting arguably the second best WR and a top tier RB

If you can make that trade I would do it but I don't see how the other owner benefits. AJ should be back by at least next week and if he can stay healthy he's just as good as Megatron. Felix is constantly hurt and will probably be in a big time share with Murray when he comes back while Gore has bounced back from his poor start.
