Who's the biggest bust of the season mid-way?

Postby FatFoot » Fri Oct 28, 2011 5:51 pm

Agree with Deluxe. And I don't think any Colt is a bust. I think they need to be a different category. Draft malfunction or something like that. Unless you drafted before Manning news was in... It's some sort of failure to have expected anything from the Colts without their alternate OC and ultimate game decider.

Chris Johnson is the biggest, just because he was still a top 10 pick even if he fell (and as high as 2-3 once the holdout was up).

Honorable mention (relative to where they were drafted):

Peyton Hillis
Reggie Wayne
Mike Williams (TB)
Sam Bradford
Knowshon Moreno
Cuffs

Who's the biggest bust of the season mid-way?

Obviously it's CJ. You can also say Jamaal Charles, but hard to label a bust due to injury.

On my team, it's obviously Phillip Rivers. Especially since I drafted him in the third round and proclaimed to everyone that he will be the #2 qb this season only behind Brady.

Agree except for Finley. Gates has to be the biggest TE bust. Randy McMichael has outscored him. As a Finley owner I know if you take the big week out of his scoring it gets ugly fast, but he's been decent in PPR leagues.

I can't call anybody who's missed games due to injury a bust - hence no Gates (or JC, Peyton, etc).

Included Finley becuase of where he was being drafted and with as good as the GB offense is, he's really putting up some garbage stats week to week (w/ the exception of his 1 monster game)... he should be having a Jimmy Graham type season (or Gronkowski/Witten/Hernandez etc)...

CJ is at least playing. With Hillis, he just decides to take week 3 off. I just hate him right now

Yea, I basically drafted Finley hoping for his week 2-4 games last year before he got hurt were his floor. Big difference watching him play this year as opposed to last. Almost as if he caged the beast.

I'd say Sam Bradford is a pretty bust at the QB spot.
WR Mario Manningham has disappointed pretty severely until today.
RB KnoSho Moreno has let all his owners down. He has even said he'll never draft him again :-D
Has Marcedes Lewis been injured? Haven't heard his name this season. Otherwise the TE position hasn't been that bad, again waiving the Colts players.
