Rookie question here...

K: Janikowski, Lindell
DEF: Steelers

I had also picked up Ponder to get me through the week 8 bye week. Now I'm going to dump him and I'd like to pick up another WR. There are two of them that pique my interest, Jordy Nelson and Braylon Edwards. I'm liking Nelson over Edwards, but I'm wondering if there's a disadvantage of having two wide receivers from the same team playing?

If those are your 2 chioces I would go for Jordy
There is nothing wrong with having two recievers from the same team
Packers are a pass happy but good at doing it team

I would pick up Jordy Nelson all day. He gets the looks from Rodgers and Packers are a pass happy team. He'll get more looks than Edward will, especially when they are a run first offense.

Thank you for your responses....I'm going to definitely target Jordy Nelson off waivers and also attempt to pick up Jonathan Baldwin. He's big, strong, young, and appears to have good hands for KC. I've got room for him, so why not

I was going to say Baldwin myself. He has more upside than either of the other two going forward. I would prioritize his claim over the others as neither of their values has increased this week and if they're still sitting on waivers at this point they probably will be again this week.

I try to avoid owning 2 wr's from the same team, simply because if the qb gets hurt or has a bad game you get double screwed. However I would take Jordy over Edwards but like Baldwin over both of those considering your roster.

Yeah, it almost never works out. Both guys RARELY both have good games. Its usually one or the other, or in the worst case, neither. I can think of a few that I would consider. I would consider Jennings/Finley, Andre/Daniels, but these are WR/TE.... Maybe Maclin/Desean but IDK....
