Postby latraffic » Mon Oct 31, 2011 5:51 pm

Gotta go with

QB - Cam Newton
RB - Fred Jackson
WR - AJ Green

Drafted all three in round 4 or later. All got me sitting in 1st place.
Thank God for Football Season.

Cam and Steve Smith for me. I've got both of them in two leagues. In one league, I didn't even have to draft or trade for either. I just wish I had smith in my PPR league.

Edit: Guess I did draft smith in one of those leagues.

Gotta agree with this here. This was the first year I took him, and I did so behind SJax and McCoy, thinking he'd make a solid bye week fill in, injury rep for someone, or just general bench depth for good measure. He's only been out of my starting lineup once, and has been excellent so far. I would have never seen round 1 production coming from a round 5+ pick.

For me it's all my WRs. We count return yardage as 1 point per 20 return yards, so...

Calvin Johnson
Wes Welker
Antonio Brown (6th highest scoring WR in the league with our scoring and he's becoming a bigger factor in that offense each week...15 targets and 9 receptions week 8)

So despite drafting Jamaal Charles I'm leading the league in total points...go figure.

My WR combo is Welker and Steve Smith, so that's pretty nice. Tony Gonzalez has also been very solid.

For my 14 team PPR league

QB- Eli. I waited too long to get a QB, and always thought I was weak at the position. However, Eli is having a great year and I got great value from him in the 7th round.

Also, picking up Tebow week 6 to fill in for Eli's week 7 bye was very pleasant. Tebow was awesome that week.

RB- Darren Sproles. Got him the 11th round, and he has the 3rd most points on my team behind Lesean McCoy and Eli. Was hesitant about taking him because I was unsure of the RB situation in New Orleans.

Also, shout out to Beanie Wells.

WR- AJ Green. Didn't expect much from the rookie, but he's my top scoring WR, ahead of my #1 and #2 WRs (VJax and Bowe).

For me my Wr's were really in bad shape when i drafted Wayne in the IDK 4th round im guessing. This was all before the Manning thing...

Victor Cruz
Ant Brown- Who I just got last week and played great and won me the week basically.
J Hanson- I know its a kicker, but hes over 40 and hes leading our league in points.

Mine has to be the turnaround of Big Ben. Ever since he hurt his foot, he's been a lights out QB
