The TE situation on my roster is a tad weak. My byes are all but done, so it's time to move towards a playoff run.
I'm thinking of dropping Breaston and Cook and hopefully snagging these two tight ends. This could handcuff me in the RB dept, but the wire is so thin these days.
Do you think these two guys can begin to produce and push me to the title?

for this week, i'd definitely want Celek. The bears have allowed 6 touchdowns to tight ends, and they will devote their defensive attention to stopping all of Philly's speed(McCoy, Vick, Jackson and Maclin).
Also, Celek had 50 yards and a TD when the two teams played last year(and the bears were much tougher on TE's then).
As for your question, i'd take the gamble, but you should still be looking to trade for a TE.

A 3-5 team has Gates and Pettigrew. He is thin at RB and WR.
Celek, Clark, trade... In that order.

I'd go trade for Gates as a priority over these two TE's.
Hasn't done much now, but will in the future. Celek, I'm not liking him just because he's really inconsistent. He doesn't put up much numbers. The performance from other day was just against a weak Dallas team that was really unprepared in every way, shape, and form. Clark I'm not liking obviously because of the messy QB situation in IND.
But if you have to choose between Celek and Clark I'd go Celek.
The guy that has Gates also has Pettigrew, but he is on a bye so that would add unnecessary value to Gates if I pursue a trade. I'm feeling I would have to break up my WR core to land him. And with Austin at an all time low, timing seems completely against me this upcoming week.
Maybe a might try Celek this week and work something for week 10. He also had MJD who I wouldn't mind.

If you want to go with Celek for this week, I would be definitely for it.
Philly goes against Chicago this week who is ranked 28th in stopping the pass, which means nothing but positive value for Celek. But also, Celek and the Eagles go against the Cardinals in week 10. So he might just be more than a single week replacement.. Depending on how many targets he gets against the Bears.
