even IF nicks lays i would go manningham... I dont thinks nicks is going to be completely healed to have that explosiveness back to make a difference...

I'm still not totally sold on Jackie Battle. Remember - even if he is getting touches he was a practice squad guy as early as a few months ago. I've enjoyed taking the risk on Jordy Nelson during recent weeks, he may be a deep man but has the best QB behind him. Manningham is a great player but Victor Cruz is the new man in town and Manning will be spread the ball, but def keep an eye on Nicks. My initial thought was Nelson, after reading what everyone else says I doubt it a little but I'm sticking by it. He has good points this season.

Manningham without a doubt. Eli is going to be tossing that ball all over the field this week

Situation gets a bit more muddled now. Trades and injures have created new situation.

WR: Nicks, Dez, VJax, Manningham, Julio Jones (will be my waiver add)
RB: Ray Rice (locked and loaded), Mathews, Battle, Thomas

Who do I start?

WR
1. Nicks (trending down, I'm planning on not using him)
2. Dez (pretty much a lock)
3. Manningham (pretty much a lock, with Nick's situation)
4. VJax (held out of both yesterday and today's practices. likely a no go for me)
5. Jones (coming off of an injury, but should be good to go fresh out of his bye)

So I'm thinking as of right now: Manningham and Dez?

RB

1. Rice (locked and loaded)
2. Mathews (looks like he'll sit out)
3. Battle (looking like my RB2 for the week)
3. Thomas (practiced, but still not high on him)

This leaves me with a flex decision. I think I default to Jones here.

Thoughts?
Week 13

QB - Tim Tebow
WR - Hakeem Nicks
WR - Dez Bryant
RB - Ray Rice
RB - Ryan Mathews
TE - Jermichael Finley
W/R/T - Vincent Jackson
BN - Tony Romo
BN - Julio Jones
BN - Roy Helu
BN - Ben Tate
BN - Kevin Smith
K - Mason Crosby
D - Houston

If Nicks can go, I'd also start Manningham. Nicks and Manningham on the field at the same time is valuable. If Nicks can't go, Manningham will see extra coverage, and I'd go with Battle. So, see what the news is on Nicks Saturday and go from there.

If Nicks can't go...I'd be left with Manningham or Neslon at WR. I'd probably play Manningham at WR and Battle at flex at that point.

This, if Nicks cant go. If Nicks does play then I would play him and Manningham against the Pats. Dont worry, they Pats pass D is that bad.

Ready my updated situation. I think Manningham locked in at this point, no matter what.
