Tough choices at RB and WR this week

Postby SmokyMcNasty » Wed Nov 02, 2011 2:10 am

Standard scoring 12 team league.

At RB, pick 2 to start:

Ray Rice vs Steelers
Rashard Mendenhall vs Ravens
Beanie Wells vs Rams
Michael Bush vs Broncos (assuming McFadden sits it out)

At WR, pick 3:

Wes Welker vs Giants
Vincent Jackson vs Packers
Antonio Brown vs Ravens
Darrius Heyward Bey vs Broncos
Michael Crabtree vs Redskins

And one last question also.. in my other league: Andre Johnson coming back from injury vs Browns or should I bench him this week and start James Jones vs Chargers..

Rice and Mendenhall at RB. play your studs
V.Jax, Welker and Crabtree at WR for me.

If Andre Johnson is playing at only 10% health, I'd start him.

Help with mine?

RB: I'd pick Rice and Wells. Although Wells is playing with somewhat of an injury, he was still productive in week 8. He's playing the Lambs, so he should do pretty good again. Mendenhall could get shut down by the Ravens.

WR: I'd pick Welker, Jackson, and Brown. Brown is the only questionable one, as he's playing the Ravens. No on Heyward-Bey because he doesn't have a decent QB throwing to him yet and he has a history of dropping passes. Crabtree is solid, but the 49ers are a running team. That's why I'd take Brown over Crabtree.

As far as your other league, I'd pick the beast Andre Johnson over James Jones if he's indeed playing.

I have Rice and Wells in right now, but I am constantly changing my mind. The guy I really want to play this week is Michael Bush actually. If McFadden plays, this will make my decision much easier, but if he sits out..... I'm really thinking of playing Bush. Oakland's offensive line is very impressive at creating running holes.

Based on matchups, I actually think Wells and Bush have the best ones.. am I seriously crazy enough to sit Ray Rice? Even though Pittsburgh's run defense is not as good as it used to be, I think they are still capable of shutting down RB's on any given week.

Can't make up my damn mind!
