Pick two. Battle, Tolbert and Julio Jones

Postby psmith9511 » Wed Nov 02, 2011 7:40 pm

Who to start (2) out of Battle, Tolbert and Julio Jones? Playing the league leader this week, so I'm looking for upside. SD is going to have to put up points, and they run the ball often in the red zone. Jones could have a monster game against Miami (and I have Ryan at QB) assuming he's not slowed too much by the injury, and Battle looked pretty good last week.

You're right. Jones COULD have a monster game. Or... Roddy White could have the monster game and leave you stinkin. I'd go with the sure points and play Battle and Tolbert. Ryan Matthews is hurt again so Tolbert should have a large role this week.

I'd play Tolbert for sure with Matthews' injury, then probably Battle even though KC is more of a passing team right now. IMO Jones won't get as many looks as Roddy White. I'm sorry to say too that Matt Ryan is much better at home than he is on the road. He's at Indy and only projected to put up 15+ points. This makes Battle the better call IMO.

Tolbert is the way to go this week in SD. Battle is the safer call then just came back Jones who will be losing looks to White.
