Make Move or No? WHIR

Postby ajn2305 » Thu Nov 03, 2011 11:51 am

10 person ppr league with 1 ppr. Got some depth at WR but Bradshaw injury leaves me really thin at rb...move one of my secondary WR's for a # 2 rb or stick it out with what I have? I am 5-3 and in 2nd place in my division and 3rd overall.

QB-Rodgers
RB's-Turner, Bradshaw, Benson, Torain, Faulk
WR's- S. Smith, M. Wallace, S. Johnson, V. Cruz, J. Nelson
TE's-Daniels, Pettigrew
D-San Fran
K-Crosby

Start qb, 2 rbs, 2 wrs, wr/rb, te, d, k

Also Ringer is available and i could drop faulk and get him today...lemme know what you think?

I would try to make a move for an rb2. Who knows how long Bradshaw is out and you are very thin at rb.

I would absolutely try to move Stevie Johnson or Jordy Nelson, you do need a viable RB2/flex outside of Benson. I wouldn't be afraid to move either stud WR for the right RB due to your depth at WR... throw out some offers as you have some flexibility.

I'd start Benson this week and see how he does. Additionally you can see how your WRs do. If Victor Cruz has a great game (which he should against the pats) he'll be worth a lot more next week. If Benson does badly I would try and make a move but just start a WR in the flex this week, I don't think you'll regret it with your options.

Thanks for your help

Stevie Johnson is the best trade candidate here. Can you grab a guy like Michael Bush, James Starks? Look for guys who are weak at WR in your league, as it's obviously a huge strength for you.

I think that your team is good enough without making a trade. I would drop Faulk and look to pick up a waiver wire RB.

I would get Ringer out of FA, and then try to move Cruz or Johnson for a better RB. Although, Benson could tide you over until Bradshaw gets back. Thanks for the help with mine.
Yay for Offensive Coordinators!!!
