I'll answer my own question!
as per: Rotoworld
Brandon Jacobs - RB - Giants Brandon Jacobs is "set to carry the load" in Sunday's game against the Patriots, according the Newark Star-Ledger. Jacobs has been griping about his meager role behind Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), so now it's time to prove he's still got gas left in the tank. He'll start going forward and is a strong bet for 15-18 touches weekly, including all the goal-line work. D.J. Ware will serve as the third-down back. If Jacobs was dropped in your league, scoop him back up as a potential RB2/flex play. Source: Newark Star-Ledger Nov 3 - 12:31 PM
Before the season began, didn't they say it was going to be a 50/50 share with Jacobs and Bradshaw? Look how that turned out. I'm hoping Ware is the new Bradshaw here, we shall see!!!
A "person familiar" with Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) tells ESPN's Adam Schefter Bradshaw's injury is "not serious" and he "should play Sunday." Bradshaw himself has lent the report some credence, telling the New York Daily News it's "not out of the question" he plays against the Patriots. Coach Tom Coughlin is expected to update the situation after practice. Schefter rarely misses, so for now consider the situation fluid. If Bradshaw does play, it would almost certainly be in a limited capacity.

do you think this is a little gamesmanship, vs a crafty/secretive NE team?

He did go back into the game after it happened. Keep an eye on your sources, but I wouldn't be surprised if he plays a few snaps. This is shaping up to be an ugly 3 headed monster this week and I'm benching Bradshaw at flex and will start 2 TEs instead.
