FLEX: Gronkowski or McGahee?

Postby Jordan Haislip » Fri Nov 04, 2011 3:53 pm

It's looking like Gronk at home vs. the Giants or McGahee starting @ Oakland for my FLEX position. I recently acquired McGahee and want to try out my new toy, but I'm vying for the lead in the league this week. We are PPR. Any help is appreciated!

It just worries me that NYG has the best defense against TEs, and Oakland gives up the 5th most to RBs, but you're right about the reliability of McGahee.

I have both players in my lineup this week. You need to go with the guy who touches the ball more as your flex. I would go with McGahee. He is good for 20 carries this week so with the workload alone he should get you 8-10 pts. Don't worry about the injury, its not like he is coming back from a sprained ankle or knee, he had some screws put into his hand that is almost already healed. He showed reporters that it doesn't hurt by bending it back in front of them. He will wear a brace to help protect it though. Fox is committed to the run this weekend as he doesn't want Tebow dropping back 40 times.

As for worrying about the Giants pass D vs TEs I wouldn't be. What TE's have they faced? Noone good I bet.

Good luck!
