Boldin or Pierre Thomas in the felx ?

Postby soon179 » Sat Nov 05, 2011 12:23 pm

10 man standard league

hard choice I liked what Boldin did last week and is the g to receiver even with the not so great match up.Or do I go with Pierre Thomas who had a OK week last week with a TD and has a good match up.I am leaning towards Boldin (earlier in the week I omitted starting Nelson or James Jones in favor for him but now Pierre Thomas is tempting)What do you think? leave a link as always 100 % WHIR

Tough call for sure, my first instinct was Boldin but the numbers say Thomas, Baltimore is up agains the best pass defense in the league and Flacco downright sucks these days. Thomas however is unreliable but up against a weaker run defense.

I would Play Thomas. Tough decision but I think the Steelers D is due a good game, and I like the matchup for Thomas.

Seems like it's pretty close to me. I like Thomas more just because of the matchup with Boldin going up against the Steelers.

Tough one, but I'd say Thomas. I think he's going to get a lot of opportunity running and receiving. Steelers/Ravens could be a shoot out or a 3-6 game. Ravens offense has been too unpredictable.

Yeah I give Thomas the slight edge here because of match ups.

Go with Thomas here. The Steelers have given up all of 1 TD to a #1 WR this entire season and especially lately they have shut down opposing top WRs with ease. They're giving up 4 catches for 45 yards per game this season to WR1s and especially if they play a little more man defense like they did last week in shutting down the Patriots offense, the Ravens will have trouble moving the ball through the air.

Tampa isn't an awesome matchup for Thomas but with Ingram likely not playing again, it will give him plenty of opportunities to put up some good numbers this week.
