I usually start 3RB and 2WR but Im contemplating going 2RB and 3WR. Shonn Greene and Mendenhall have been up and down this season. Greene is against the Pats this week. Mendy is @ Cincy who have been a very good defense this season. I could put DeSean Jackson in at flex who is going against the Cardinals whose secondary has been susceptible to giving up big plays this season. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Start 2RB, 2WR, 1 RB/WR. 10yds per point, 6 for tds non ppr. RB Forte, Jackson WR Wallace, VJax Flex ? Bench Mendy @ Cin, Greene vs NE, DJax vs Arz
I think Greene is going to have a fair game against NE who is actually decent against the run. Mendy is falling victim to an increased pass attack on PIT which has been working and CIN is hard to run on. DJax is disappointing and being overshadowed by Maclin. That all being said I like Greene in this matchup (he did have 83yds and a TD against NE last game.
Bench Mendy and DJax and use Greene
Lineup (starters in Bold) QB - RG3, Romo RB - McCoy, MJD,AP, MJD WR - Nelson, Austin, T.Smith, Wallace TE - Graham, Bennett DST - Lions K - Tucker
I sense a HUGE game coming from DJax this week. Its bound to happen and vs Arizona I think its going to happen. If you are unsure of this then Mendenhall is the safer play. He will get ya a TD no doubt but the yards might be hard to come by. No way is Pitt losing this game.
I think its a stretch to say jacksons gonna do great. He has been very inconsistent regardless of the defense. Id go sean greene against a weak ne defense. Mendy may have more carries than passed weeks but not enough to go him over greene.
I like D. Jax also. I'm playing him in my league and I think he'll have a great game against the AZ secondary. They are getting torched through the air.
I think your decision comes down to how much can you afford to gamble. If you want to go the high risk-high reward route, then DJax is your man. If you want to play it safer, then I'd go with Greene. I hope that helps.
If you want to play conservative start Greene. He'll get 20 plus carries. If you want to risk it start DJax. He's done little to nothing this year but if he's finally going to have his game it'll come this week.
